Associate Solicitor Paul Davidoff based at Morrisons Solicitors’ Woking office has been announced as the winner of the STEP President’s Prize for the Qualified Practitioners Student of the Year (Law category). The prize has been awarded for his thesis entitled ‘the options available to a testator (and their implications) who wishes to defer the inheritance of his minor beneficiaries beyond their 18th birthday’.
STEP is the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners and provides education, training, representation and networking for its members, who are professionals specialising in trusts and estates, executorship, administration and related taxes.
Awards are presented annually by STEP and are designed to recognise the dedication, commitment and hard work shown by the recipients and reward those individuals who achieve outstanding results.
Paul Harvey, Managing Partner of Morrisons, says: “Paul whole-heartedly deserves this award which recognises his outstanding achievement. We are extremely pleased for Paul and proud to have a STEP award winner on our team. From everybody at Morrisons we’d like to congratulate Paul.”
The award will be presented to Paul at an awards dinner in London in June and will be featured in the summer STEP Journal.
